Response Team - Task Force Membership Information
Membership on Rescue International's Special Emergencies
Response Team is open to anyone 21 years of age or older that can donate their
time to train and respond to Special Emergencies and Disasters worldwide.
You must be in good health and physically capable to work long hours for
multiple days. You must be available to travel for both missions and
training sessions. Members must provide their own equipment and pay for
all travel expense unless on a financed mission. Members must have an
e-mail address for team correspondence and a e-mail enabled pager or cell phone
for call outs. Canine Handlers must have an
operational dog to join as a Canine Search Team.
Members are needed in the following areas:
Emergency and Amateur Communications
Search Dog/Handler Teams
Wilderness - Water - Fire - Cadaver
SAR Management, Disaster Response Management
Wilderness Search Operations
Water Search, Rescue and Recovery
Boat Operations
Man trackers
Disaster Relief Operations
CISM
HazMat
Animal Rescue
Membership dues are $25 per year plus the cost of a State Criminal Background Check in your state.
Organizational Membership is open to Organized SAR Teams as associate members, e-mail for details.
